Have your say Con rep with experience of cardiovascular disease wanted

The NSW Office for Health and Medical Research is looking for a consumer (or carer) with lived experience of cardiovascular disease. The consumer representative in this paid position will engage in the review process for a funding round offering fellowships to early-to-mid career researchers working in cardiovascular health.
The representative would be part of a working group that will:
- provide input on project documentation such as applicant guidelines, EOI form and application form
- be responsible for content and logistics of a half day workshop for applicants
- undertake review at the EOI stage for all applicants, against selection criteria provided by OHMR, and recommend the top 20 applicants to proceed to full application
- identify mentors to assist applicants in the development of their full application.
They are looking for someone who would be available immediately until approximately December this year. Remuneration of the consumer rep will be in accordance with the Classification And Remuneration Framework For NSW Government Boards And Committees. This is equivalent to a daily sitting fee of $220. Meetings will be held monthly with some more meetings over the next couple of months. Meetings will be at the Ministry of Health in North Sydney.
