Have your say  Use your experience to contribute to a national reform process

Thu 19, Apr 2018

Application deadline: Monday, 23 April

When: Friday, 11 May 2018, 11am - 1pm, Sydney
Who: Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHC)

ACSQHC is looking for healthcare patients/consumers/carers to contribute to the development of an important national healthcare reform. This time, the goal is to ensure that all healthcare consumers in Australia can easily access relevant and meaningful information about the safety and quality of their local health services.

The topic of discussion for the focus group is about what types of information patients/consumers want to know about the safety and quality of public and private health services, and how this can be made easily accessible and useful to consumers.

If you are not resident in one of these capital cities, ACSQHC still encourages you to contact them. They are especially keen to hear from regional, rural and remote healthcare consumers.

Focus group: Sydney, Friday, 11 May 2018, 11am to 1pm

Participants will be paid participation fees in accordance with Remuneration Tribunal Determination 2017/10: Remuneration and Allowances for Holders of Part-Time Public Office https://www.legislation.gov.au/Details/F2017C00955.

The total fee to be paid to participants is $401 (excl. GST) to cover participation in and travel to and from the focus groups. If you are based in a regional, rural or remote area, the Commission may cover the cost of extended travel (to be decided on a case by case basis).

If you are available and interested in attending, please contact tammy.cowell@safetyandquality.gov.au by Monday 23 April.
