Ageism survey and workshops
Health Consumers NSW is partnering with the Older Women’s Network (OWN) and the Association for the Wellbeing of Children in Healthcare (AWCH) to find out more about people’s experience of being treated differently in health care because of their age.
If you think you’ve been treated differently because of your age (no matter what your age) we would like to hear from you. We have set up a short survey, that should take no more than 5 minutes, to tell us about this experience please use the survey:
Ageism workshop for people over 45
Health Consumers NSW and the Older Women’s Network NSW will be hosting a workshop on ageism and health care for people over 45 years of age.
This workshop, scheduled for the 19 May in Newtown, has been postponed. A new date has not been set yet.
Ageism workshop for people 18-25
Health Consumers NSW and the Association for the Wellbeing of Children in Healthcare is planning to host a workshop on ageism and health care for people aged between 18 – 25 years of age later in 2020.
