Input into the development of clinical trial referral app for GPs and patients
Deadline: Friday, 29 March 2019
Who: ClinTrial Refer
ClinTrial Refer (CTR) is a mobile app and website platform that helps connect doctors and patients to current clinical trial opportunities. ClinTrial Refer is a not for profit owned by Sydney Local Health District and South Eastern Sydney Local Health District.
The roundtable workshop will take place on Wednesday, 29 May 2019 and look at exploring opportunities for GP engagement with clinical trials to improve referrals from the primary care setting.
It will be designed to include some short presentations and facilitated discussion with the goal of identifying best practice recommendations for embedding clinical trials in primary health care.
Having consumer input on this discussion is important as it will help GP’s understand how patients would like to receive information about clinical trial opportunities that might be relevant to them.
They are looking for consumers with an interest in digital health/clinical trials research that would like to have input on how information about current clinical trials is made available to consumers in the primary care setting.
The goal is to facilitate referral and recruitment into clinical trials. ClinTrial Refer’s service could be a valuable resource for GP’s, so part of the roundtable will be to also explore how their service capabilities can be bridged into the primary care setting to help clinicians and their patients.
A sitting fee will be paid
