Advise researchers at NICM about a clinical depression study
Deadline: Monday, 7 October 2019
Researchers, academics and clinicians at NICM in Western Sydney are currently forming a clinical study for treating Clinical Depression.
The research team is looking for three health consumers with previous experience of depression, who are currently in a stable mood, to advise the researchers about the utility of their clinical trial to potentially help people with depression.
The Western Sydney University Depression Study Group, as the team is called, would like to ask you in a relaxed confidential setting some questions about their clinical trial design to assist in the treatment of depression. The conversation will approximately last about one hour and would take place in October 2019 at a time convenient to you. The conversation would most likely be via telephone but can also be in person. Travel or similar related expenses will be covered.
The team have a senior clinical psychologist and a medical doctor on staff if any unexpected issues should arise. However, it will be a fairly light interview which is not intended to raise anything distressing.
If you fit the description and would like to provide your input about the clinical trial design to assist in the treatment of depression, please contact Professor Jerome Sarris, Deputy Director, vial email: firstname.lastname@example.org or mobile: 0404 083 393.
