A Toolkit for Consumer Participation and Engagement – Paediatric Oncolcogy
Despite being specifically developed for the field of Pediatric Oncology, “A Toolkit for Consumer Participation and Engagement” is exactly the kind of practical set of guidelines and sample documents that many a participation manager goes looking for when first asked to set up a consumer engagement program.
The document includes a clearly presented introduction to consumer participation and engagement, and a section containing 33 different resources, tools, templates and sample documents immediately useful to health services and consumers seeking to establish or to expand their consumer engagement program.
The toolkit was developed by the Paediatric Integrated Cancer Service (PICS), in collaboration with the Australian and New Zealand Children’s Haematology Oncology Group (ANZCHOG). It was produced as part of a Cancer Australia Supporting People with Cancer Grant initiative, funded by the Australian Government.
