Advise Northern Sydney LHD on their research strategy
Deadline: Friday, 31 July 2020, COB
Be a consumer representative on the Research Advisory Committee for the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD).
The Committee is currently seeking a second consumer member to contribute to the oversight of the LHD’s Research Strategy. The Research Advisory Committee meets every two months, for an hour, during business hours. You may be required to review documents for meetings or (infrequently) in between meetings, although this should take no more than an hour of your time.
The ideal representative will not have a research background to bring an entirely consumer-oriented perspective to the Committee. The LHD doesn’t pay a sitting fee or covers expenses for the consumer member.
NSLHD launched a five-year Research Strategy in 2019 to support their research. The Research Advisory Committee oversees the implementation of the initiatives outlined in the Strategy. It consists of research leaders and executive staff from across NSLHD, consumer representatives, and the Chief Executive.
If you are interested in becoming a consumer member of the committee, please send a short explanation of why you are interested, and your CV to Rebeka Freckleton, Manager Research Strategy, at firstname.lastname@example.org or call her on 0414 780 317 to find out more.
