High quality health systems, policies, services & research driven by strong consumer voices
Health Consumers NSW is proud to present our Strategic Plan for 2023 to 2026, which sets out how we will move forward, building on our past successes. The plan came into effect on 1 July 2023 and lays out our strategic direction for the next three years.
The priorities and initiatives outlined in this plan were developed through meaningful conversations with our members, partners, and stakeholders. These conversations, plus our assessment of current trends and opportunities, have highlighted areas for focus and attention.
People will notice our new priority of “Contribute to sustainability and climate health resilience”. Our members made it clear that they expect HCNSW to play a role in reducing our impact on the natural environment. We will emphasise the link between the climate crisis and poor health, and ensure that health consumers and communities are partners in shaping solutions and responses to the global climate crisis and local emergencies.
We invite you to join us as we work towards high-quality health systems, policies, services, and research that are driven by strong consumer voices.
