Research training for consumers and researchers
In 2020, we partnered with Sydney Health Partners (SHP) to promote and increase health consumer involvement across SHP’s research activities with the aim to achieve better health, research and community outcomes. As a result, we are holding three introductory online training sessions for consumers and researchers in early December 2020. These online sessions are intended as an introduction to consumer involvement in health research. The training is open to consumers and researchers affiliated with SHP or HCNSW.
How does the training work
Participants must be able to commit to a total of three hours of their time, over two weeks. This splits into a two-hour zoom session, 30 minutes to go through preparatory material that will be emailed a week before, and 30 minutes to go through followup material and an evaluation that will be emailed a week afterwards.
Each session will focus on one NSW Local Health District for illustrative examples and case studies.
