Introduction to Consumer Involvement in Health and Medical Research: Face to Face Training
Presented by Health Consumers NSW and NSW Regional Health Partners
Face to Face Training
Health Consumers NSW (HCNSW) has partnered with NSW Regional Health Partners (RHP) to promote and increase health consumer involvement across NSW RHP’s research activities with the aim of achieving better health, research and community outcomes. As a result, we are running a free face to face training session for consumers, researchers and clinician researchers on Monday 22 November 2021 9:30am – 3:30pm at Noah’s on the Beach, Newcastle. Registration from 9am.
Research Training for Consumers and Researchers
The training is intended for people who are already familiar with the core concepts and principles of consumer and community involvement (CCI) in health research and want to build their skills and knowledge in planning and conducting quality research that embraces CCI. It is open to consumers and researchers affiliated with NSW RHP.
Numbers are limited, so please register ASAP.
How does the training work
Participants will be emailed background/preparatory material to go through a week beforehand. Consumers and researchers, including clinician researchers, will work together during the face to face training.
Please note, COVID-19 Restrictions will apply. Proof of vaccination will be required.
